How to submit application for online schools admissions Mumbai 2016 under RTE act.



Are you frustrated with your school search for your child admissions? If so, you are not alone. There is nothing more frustrating than looking for opportunities when none seem to exist. But don’t worry, i am going to explain you such opportunities which help you to get proper EDUCATION for your child.

I would like to inform you all that your child can get an admission to a school in Maharashtra under the  
RTE 25% quota. In this article I am going to explain you details of the government notification for your child’s school admission in Mumbai & other cities of Maharashtra, under Right  to Education (RTE) act. Pay detail attention to the above information which explains about required documents under this quota & the online application procedure.

Right to education (RTE) says, all unaided non-minority schools have to admit students from economically weaker sections under a 25% quota at their entry level. Free education up to 8th class is mandatory for this students.

Above details are applicable for child’s school admission in mumbai as well as in other Districts and cities of Maharashtra.

Who can apply for schools admissions under RTE quota:-


1. Children’s from Disadvantaged Groups

2. Those who are in this group include:

  •     Scheduled castes
  •     Scheduled tribes

3. Those suffering from 40% or more disability

4. Children from Economically Weaker Sections

5. Those who are in this group include:

  •     Vimukta Jati Nomadic Tribes (VJNT)
  •     Other Backward Classes (OBC)
  •     Special Backward Class (SBC)

6. Those from families whose annual income is less than Rs. 1 lakh

 

What are the documents required for RTE Quota Admissions :-

A. The required documents for first section who are from Disadvantaged Groups are:-
1. Birth certificate

2. Proof of residence: This could be

  •     UID Aadhar Card;
  •     Passport;
  •     Election Photo Identity Card;
  •     Electricity bill;
  •     Telephone bill;
  •     Water bill;
  •     A house tax receipt;
  •     A driving license issued by the competent authority in the name of the parents/guardians.

2. The caste certificate
  •     It should be issued by concerned Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) or Deputy Collector, in the name of child or parent.
  •     For disabled children (CWSN), a disability certificate issued by Civil Surgeon/Superintendent of Government notified hospitals having disability of more than 40%.

3. Recent Passport size color photograph of the child.

B. The documents required for those from applying from economically weaker sections are:

1. Birth certificate.

2. Proof of residence (refer above for which type).

3. Income certificate issued by the Revenue officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.

4. Recent passport size color photograph of the child.

Note: Documents must be verified from the nearest help center. 30 help centers have been set up in Mumbai as well as in other Districts of Maharashtra [see list of Mumbai centers at the end of this article].

How to Apply:-


First part of documents are completed, now i am going to explain you How to fill the forms online:-

1. Go to: https://rte25admission.maharashtra.gov.in/adm_portal/users/login

2. Click on “New Registration ” & create your application ID.
3. Now sign in your account by entering your application number to have it registered on the system. The application number & password will be communicated to you on your registered mobile contact number.

4. Fill in details of your child as well as the details of the parents.

5. Locate and list the school to which you wish to get admission, the school being within 1km up to maximum 3km distance from your place of residence.

6. Select the required standard (Class).

7. Upload all the Required documents (check list of documents in this article above).

8. Confirm the application made by you.

9. Now you must take the printed application along with the required documents to the Help Desk provided.

10. Final Admission process

The admission is based on a lottery system for school which have less vacancy. Those having more vacancies and fewer applications will allot the seats to all applicants. They cannot charge any fee, not for any application form nor for admissions.

Those schools using the lottery system will have the lottery drawn & generated by the district administration i.e. Education officer, Primary for the district.

A selection list will be published online on the existing system, this list being accessible under application login for the child’s parents.

Take a print out of the Admit card and approach the school, which will give admission to the child after completing any further necessary requirements.
